Ten

Today is my 10th year on planet earth. Mommy said time can really fly...at a blink of an eye.  At 10, I've grown from a 50cm 3.3kg baby to a 160cm 58kg mini giant (preteen). The road ahead is still long....may I grow up slim and healthy!

Simple love

Today's mood was sombre...Mr LKY has passed on at the age of 91. As expected, all local media were splashed with various reports on this great founding father. Mommy was particularly touched by the stories of his family....coz it showed the human side of this tough leader.

Family love need not be complex as demonstrated by Cedric during TV time at night. Barney was on and singing to the tune "I love you...you love me..." Mommy was sitting by the edge of bed and next thing she knew....Cedric's small little arms came around her ....and gave her a big hug.

Simple words matched by simple act from the heart = simple love

Cedric's first movie

Mommy chanced upon this movie offer by Golden Village and decided it's time to introduce movie to little Cedric.  It was too dark in the cinema to take photo of the first timer but he did really well (for a 20-month old toddler)...sat through 3/4 of the show enjoying the popcorn and all.  He was in awe of the giant screen....not afraid of the darken room at all (unlike Ian's first visit where we spent most of the time outside the cinema instead of watching the movie).

More movie outings to come...Yippee!!

Cedric's first command

Just now, Cedric was screaming for mommy to follow him into the room. At first, she thought he was just making random noise then we realised that he was only screaming when he saw that she remained seated and not following him into the room.

Turned out, he wanted her to turn on his fav VCD by pointing at the player. So much for the revelation. ...that's my brother's first command to do things for him. ..many more other commands to come in the days ahead. (-o-")

Cedric's first fall

...off the bed....gave mommy a bad scare. But thank God he seemed fine now.

We had our first (2nd time to the Auntie Audrey's clinic for me) dental visit today.
Daddy was supposed to be our role model by doing his teeth first.

It sounded and looked scary...

We did our teeth in another room coz Daddy's session took so long (he has cavaties to be filled)

Mommy couldn't take photos of us in action coz she was part of the action (had to carry us on the chair while Auntie Audrey polished our teeth) Ian has his done first...I even got to hold the polisher. I did mine after some persuasion by mommy (bribery with a box of ribena sweets)

Auntie Audrey even gave us toys (the Doraemon ones were bought by mommy) Next visit due 6 months later!!! Cheers!
